I had no idea this place existed - let alone that it was so close to Christchurch! My friends and I travelled to this unique location where Edoras was shot in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The views were so incredible, I can't believe I haven't gone back since. If you are ever in Canterbury and love Lord of the Rings, or simply a great view - I would definitely recommend this mountain.
