Despite New Brighton being in the city where I live, I had never gone attempted to take a photo of this iconic Pier. One Saturday morning I went down before sunrise, braving the wintery climate, hoping to get a good shot. Unfortunately it had totally slipped my mind to charge my camera batteries, and I was only able to take a couple of photos. Luckily, this one turned out well!
